Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Switch/Maestro. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone or by post.
If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.
Confirmation that we have received your order is for information only. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Delivery is FREE on all orders to Mainland UK addresses.

Delivery Schedule
We process your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 2 - 3 business days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For all orders made VAT at the prevailing rate is included.
Credit/Debit Card Security
We use a Payment Service Provider called SECpay to process card payments. This is a very secure method of taking payments. We do not, at any stage, have access to your card details.
All transaction information passed between Hearing is Believing Ltd and the SECpay system is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to our server from SECpay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the SECpay servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
Privacy Policy
Hearing is Believing Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund (excluding the costs of delivery). Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or incorrectly described.
Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
Terms and Benefits for Hearing Aid Purchases ONLY
All quotations are made and orders accepted subject to the following terms and benefits and are in addition to your statutory rights which remain unaffected. The term “hearing aid” refers to monaural or binaural fittings.
1) YOUR GUARANTEE
- In accordance with the terms of the guarantee provided by the manufacturer of your hearing aid we undertake to make good, free of charge by repair or replacement, defects which under proper use may appear in your hearing aid within the “Warranty Period” stated on the purchase order form. Commencing from the date that your hearing aid has been delivered and fitted. Liability for damage arising from misuse or attempted repair by persons other than those authorised by the hearing aid’s manufacturer is specifically excluded from the guarantee.
- In accordance with the requirement of the Hearing Aid Council that there should be assigned to you, wherever it is possible to do so, the benefit given to Hearing is Believing Ltd of any guarantee provided by a manufacturer for the hearing aid supplied to you. Hearing is Believing Ltd, insofar as it is possible to do so, whether at law or otherwise, hereby assign to you the benefit of any such guarantee.
- In order to ensure that you are able to benefit fully from the guarantee provided by the manufacturer to Hearing is Believing Ltd, we undertake to provide you with all reasonable assistance (at no additional charge to you) in taking advantage of the guarantee provided by the manufacturer in respect of the hearing aid supplied to you (whether the guarantee is assigned or not) if your hearing aid requires repair or replacement as appropriate.
2) REHABILITATION CONSULTATION
With the fitting of every new hearing aid, a period of rehabilitation is necessary. As part of our continuing aftercare service, we undertake to offer a further personal consultation within 6 weeks of the delivery and fitting of your hearing aid, at no additional charge to you. This consultation is to assess your progress and to offer any further assistance that may be required. It may be arranged at the time of fitting of your hearing aid but may also be arranged by contacting us at the address and telephone number given on your “fitting receipt” form.
3) 30 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE
Your hearing aid is supplied to you with the full benefit of our 30 Day Money Back Guarantee of Satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with your hearing aid you may return it to us within 30 days of the date of fitting. We will refund the price of the hearing aid and professional services in full. Your rights to obtain a repair or replacement of your hearing aid in the event of your being supplied with a faulty hearing aid are not restricted.
4) FURTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
All hearing aid dispensers are required to be registered with the Hearing Aid Council and a copy of the Council’s Code of Practice may be seen on request. All “Hearing Aid Dispensers” employed by Hearing Is Believing Ltd are registered with The Hearing Aid Council.
